Wi-Fi Access

The AUP Wi-Fi network is available across campus for use with your laptop, smartphoneÌýand other devices, as long as you have aÌývalid AUP NetID and password.

To access Wi-Fi:

  • Choose the AUPÌýwireless Network
  • Enter your user name (AUP NetID) and password (use the same credentials you use to log in to your NetID account.)

Eduroam: connect everywhere

Ìýallows students, faculty and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet access on their own campus and when visiting other participating institutions.ÌýAUP students, faculty and staff can get online easily just by logging into the "eduroam" Wi-Fi networkÌýon the AUP campus or while visiting another participating institution.ÌýConversely, members of other participating institutions can connect to eduroam at AUP using their e-mail address from their home institution.

Connecting to eduroam - AUP members

If you are anÌýAUP student, faculty member, or staff member,Ìýyou can easily configure your device to connect to eduroam by , which will allow you to download the eduroam setup assistant for your Windows PC, Mac, iPhone/iPad, or Android device.Ìý Once you have completed this setup process, your device will automatically connect to the eduroam network whenever it is available.

Connecting to eduroamÌý- visitors to AUP

If you are member of another educational institution who is visiting AUP, you will need to log in to eduroam using your home institution's e-mail address and password.Ìý To do so, go to the Wi-Fi settings on your device and select the eduroamÌýnetwork.

Note that AUP cannot provide support for issues related to your login being rejected.Ìý Any issues related to your connection to eduroam must be directed to your home institution's IT support team.

When connecting to eduroamÌýat AUP, you are required to comply with our University Information TechnologyÌýPolicies. This policy applies to all users of AUP Information Technology (IT) resourcesÌýregardless of their relationship with the University and irrespective of whether those resources are accessed on or off-campus.Ìý

Wi-Fi access for external guests (up to nine people)

The Guest Account Service allows an AUP member to set up a Wi-Fi guest account on the fly for aÌývisitor to the University. The guest account allows access to the Internet, including AUP Wi-Fi.Ìý

Guest accounts are only accessible to individuals who are visiting the University on official business for fiveÌýworking days or less.Ìý

To request Wi-Fi access for a visitor at AUP (or up to nine external guests)Ìýplease fill out this form. If you are a guest coming to AUP, ask your sponsor (host) at AUP to fillÌýout this form for you.

Wi-Fi access for Conference guests (10 visitors or more)

The Conference Guest Account is a generic conference account provided by a conferenceÌýorganizer. It gives guests access to the Internet,Ìýincluding the AUP Wi-Fi service.Ìý

These accounts are only granted to individuals who areÌýinvited to an AUP eventÌýand will only be accessible for the time of theÌýconference.
